Flint
River Services was created in 1992 in a small 28,000 sq.ft. building
in Albany, Georgia, and from then until now, the corporation of
humble beginnings has grown to over a million square feet.
The way it all began...
At a very young age, Lem Griffin began working in the warehousing
business. He says he always enjoyed looking back at the end of the
day to see accomplishments. He knew long hours and hard work would
pay off, and indeed it has!
For more that 40 years, Lem has been associated with the peanut
and pecan industries, the primary commodities presently stored at
Flint River Services. He has campaigned for just about every peanut
cause under the sun and is still actively involved in this and other
industry and community challenges.
